Exploring Silver Falls state park

Found a real gem of a park to hang out at.  We went for a 12 mile bike ride, 3 mile hike around some cool waterfalls and did some fishing.

Believe it or not, Kye chose to wear the tie all on his own.  I will post some more of the ceremony when I get them off my phone.  Onto the next school !

A wedding in Washington - Pics round II

Here are some pics from the post-doc's, Jolanda, wedding up in Gold Bar, Washington.  It was a fun weekend and I got to visit an old friend and mentor in Seattle, Colm, who taught me how to do molecular biology.  We also checked out the Seattle Zoo and on the way home there was some fun biking to be had at Duthie Hill.
