On sunday we went for our first real family bike ride which included 14 miles on the paved Springwater corridor trail, three miles on dirt dual track and some single track at Powell Butte. On top of Powell we had some great views of St. Helens and Hood. The wee hoo handled the singletrack downhill with ease. On the way back we stopped at "Cartlandia" to have some lunch. Basically, Cartlandia is a collection of food vendors along the trail. Not exactly the most pristine setting but some pretty good grub. Little man road for over two hours in the wee hoo without complaints and Mary's new bike did the trick. I am scoping out the Barlow road downhill to see if it is wee hoo compatible. 15 miles downhill from Government Camp and finishing up at the Dairy Queen.
